Nouvelle de la cité

Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

AUJOURD’HUI : FIN DE CLUSTER !

Nous avons eu une période COVID, doublée d’un manque de personnel toujours prégnant dans l’ensemble des établissements français.

Nous espérons, au vu du nombre de demande d’emplois reçues par l’établissement en recrudescence ces dernières semaines, que ces deux fléaux seront bientôt derrière nous.

J’ai rencontré mercredi dernier les résidents et leur ai demandés de me donner leur avis quant à :

  1. La suppression du masque dans l’établissement
  2. L’acceptation de la venue des enfants dans l’établissement
  3. La possibilité aux familles de manger à nouveau à la table des résidents.

Après un temps de questions réponses, les résidents ont émis l’avis favorable d’assouplir ces mesures sanitaires.

Aujourd’hui, j’ai eu le personnel, qui pour la plupart, a aussi souhaité que le masque ne soit plus obligatoire.

Nous avons donc décidé, à partir du 22/11/2022, que les trois mesures de restriction seraient levées.

Ces mesures n’existant plus dans toute la France, hormis dans les hôpitaux, il est bon que l’on retrouve cette liberté de mettre ou non le masque, d’accueillir les petits-enfants dans l’EHPAD et de pouvoir manger ensemble, notamment lors de notre traditionnel repas de noël, le mardi 20 décembre.

Ces mesures sont bien sûr soumises à l’absence de Covid dans l’établissement. Mais l’important, c’est quand même de profiter des figures entières de chacun, des sourires de tous !

Omicron, tu ne nous auras pas ! 😉

Pour l’actualité du COVID, nous avons maintenant régulièrement des salariés testés positifs, par les contacts avec leur famille. Nous testons les personnels qui ont été en contact avec eux et aucun n’a été positif. Donc toujours pas, pour l’instant, de cluster dans l’établissement. Tant mieux ! Nous pouvons tous vous remercier ! Tous les efforts fait par le personnel, les familles et les résidents sortant à l’extérieur, sont pour l’instant récompensés.

Mais ne crions pas victoire trop vite…

Tout d’abord, je vous souhaite une belle et bonne année 2022 ! Qu’elle soit heureuse, jonchée de pleines de petites joies. Que vous soyez toujours à la recherche de la paix dans votre entourage, afin que votre sérénité soit visible de tous ! Et que cette année soit encore plus solidaire que la précédente !

Nous n’avons pas résisté à la recrudescence générale de cas de Covid en France et dans notre territoire. Des salariés et des proches de résident sont régulièrement testés positifs (7 personnes depuis début décembre), mais nous n’avons pas chez les résidents de cas de COVID jusqu’à aujourd’hui.

Nous avons pu remarquer entre directeurs que dans des EHPAD où il y a des cas de COVID parmi les résidents, il n’y a pas eu d’hospitalisation d’urgence pour les résidents ayant reçus la 3ème dose. C’est de bon augure pour la suite des évènements.

Mais soyons toujours vigilants en respectant dans l’EHPAD les mesures sanitaires demandées, pour ne pas avoir de contraintes supplémentaires.

Le département du Gers met à disposition une tablette à la cité St Joseph

Mr Gérad Castet conseillé départemental, nous a rendu une petite  visite, afin de  mettre  à disposition à la cité St Joseph  une tablette flambant neuve du département du Gers.

Cette tablette est également équipée d’une connexion 4G et dotée d’  applications Visio, afin de pouvoir organiser des visioconférences avec nos résidents et de  garder un lien avec les familles.

Elle viendra complétée le parc déjà existant des tablettes du service animation de la cité st joseph.

Une aide très précieuse pour garder un contact avec les familles, actuellement nous avons une moyenne de trois rendez-vous Visio par jour avec  les proches.

« Le coin des familles » ne désempli pas à la cité

Depuis son lancement le 16 avril dernier. Le calendrier des visites au « coin des familles », a été victime de son succès, avec un taux de remplissage de plus d’une semaine d’avance.

Nous assistons à des moments d’émotion, mêlé de rire et parfois de larme de revoir ses proches, amis ou familles.

Petite nouveauté grâce à Mr Thibaud  le fils d’une résidente, nous sommes maintenant équipés d’un système de sonorisation. Un accessoire pas du tout négligeable quand on connait les problèmes de surdité de certain de nos résidents.

Petit rappel, il y a 3 visites par jour 11h00 ,14h00 et 16h00.Prendre rendez-vous au secrétariat au 05.62.69.49.49

A la cité St Joseph

À Roche-la-Molière, à côté de Saint-Étienne, la résidence du Parc vient d’avoir une idée plutôt surprenante pour ses personnes âgées résidentes. Afin qu’elles ne perdent pas le lien avec leurs proches, un « parloir » a été installé.

L’idée a énormément séduit l’équipe pluridisciplinaire de la Cité St Joseph. Mr Delor le directeur de l’établissement enthousiasmé par cette idée a de suite donné ses directives pour la fabrication du projet.

En moins de 24h la structure a été mise en place par l’équipe technique.

 Rebaptisé « Le coin des familles » et opérationnel dès le lendemain.

Il permet d’assurer des visites sécurisées.

Grâce à ce dispositif nous pouvons voir et entendre nos résidents à travers un large plexiglass et d’assurer des visites sécurisées.

 Toutes les mesures sanitaires sont prises, pour éviter toute contamination (Gel hydro alcoolique, masques et une désinfection systématique après chaque passage) Un planning est organisé pour que personne ne se croise.

Les familles et amis de nos résidents peuvent s’inscrire auprès du secrétariat

 au 05.62.69.49.49 de 9h à 17h30.

Cette mesure exceptionnelle, rendue nécessaire par une situation sanitaire exceptionnelle, sera levée dès que la situation le permettra« . 

 

Nous nous engageons à remettre en place le système de courrier. On encourage les familles à écrire à leurs parents, l’échange épistolaire est vieux comme le monde et ça fonctionne très bien. Nous lirons ces lettres aux résidents.

Afin de garder un contact avec nos résidents, Nous  invitons les familles  à s’inscrire sur l’application SKYPE.

L’équipe animations de la Cité ST Joseph se propose d’aider les personnes à  ce servir de cette outil informatique dans les créneaux suivant ,
